My story - the reason why I am passionate about helping families to establish healthy sleeping habits.
In 2017 my son was born, and motherhood hit me like a ton of bricks. It wasn’t at all what I expected, and I found myself struggling with the lack of sleep. I suffered severe sleep deprivation, my mental health struggled, I didn’t feel like I was a good mum.
I thought there was something wrong with my son as he slept so bad, and I felt really lonely as everyone else around me seemed to be coping just fine.
I had anxiety in the lead up to bedtime, and I was up and down the stairs several times before I even had a chance to eat dinner with my husband. I got to a point where something had to change, I couldn’t go on any longer with things as they were, I was returning to work soon, and I was miserable and not bonding with my son. That’s when I found a Sleep Specialist, and she changed (saved) my life.
And that’s why I trained and certified to become one also. For the last 6 years I have been passing on the gift of sleep to hundreds of families around the world, empowering them and transforming their lives.
